Kevin S. Relyea’s career in restaurants began with Jack In the Box as a grill cook while in high school.  Later, his work with Jack In the Box included Vice President of Operations for the most successful division in the company, which included over 225 restaurants with a combined $250M in annual sales.  In 1994, Relyea became President of the Family Dining Division of Family Restaurants Inc.  This included the Coco’s, Carrows and jojo’s brands with over $500M in annual sales.  Later, Relyea guided Prandium through a successful pre-packaged bankruptcy reorganization in 2002.  Prandium also operated El Torito, Chi-Chi’s, Casa Gallardo, Koo Koo Roo, Hamburger Hamlet, Charley Brown’s, Las Brisas, and Keystone Grill.

Relyea’s upcoming book,  Leadership Lies,  explores the key myths that most often cause leadership to disappoint.  He shares The Leadership Framework, a proven structure Relyea uses to successfully lead businesses to increase organizational performance.
