  • Successfully opened and launched over 100 new restaurants including Black Angus, Del Taco, Spoons, National Sports Grill, Grandy’s, Tutto Mare, Prego, Jack In The Box,  El Torito, Chi-Chi’s, Koo Koo Roo, Coco’s and Taco Bell.

 

 

  • Managed largest Jack In The Box division of over 225 company owned stores with over $275 million in annual sales.

 

 

  • Managed largest Taco Bell division of over 225 company owned stores with over $200   million in annual sales.

 

 

  • Grew same store sales by 17% with a 27% increase in profitability for 85 company owned Taco Bell stores with $100 million in annual sales and 3600 employees.

 

 

  • Improved EBITDA at Coco’s/Carrows by 18% (or $10 Million) in one year.

 

 

  • Improved EBITDA at Chi-Chi’s and El Torito combined by $35 Million.

 

 

  • Managed design of food cost model to reduce costs at Coco’s/Carrows, El Torito, and    Chi-Chi’s by 4% of sales.

 

 

  • Reversed double digit decline in sales at Chi-Chi’s.

 

 

  • Facilitated franchise programs for National Sports Grill and Grandy’s.

 

  • Advisor on effective exit strategy maximizing the owner’s investment return of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

 

 

  • Created turnaround plan and guidance for the Board of Directors’ negotiations to avoid bankruptcy of 1,300 store fast food Blimpies International.  

 

  • Completed the sale of two operating divisions of Prandium, Inc. for approximately $443 million in value and repaid and amended the existing credit facility.
