Restructure of Financial Institutional Debt

If the company finds itself with unmanageable overhanging debt from one or more financial institutions, restructuring may be in order.  The restructuring plan could include such considerations as:

  • Conversion from short-term to long-term debt

  • Modification of repayment terms

  • Conversion of debt to equity

  • Cancellation of debt

  • Exchange of debt for assets

  • Waiver and/or deferral of interest or related charges
