Dennis
R. Brink
Dennis R. Brink is a
seasoned senior financial and operations executive with in-depth experience
gained from Fortune 500 and other multinational companies as well as
many years as a senior
consultant, Interim Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) and Chief Restructuring
Officer (“CRO”) in business turnarounds and restructurings. His overall
experience has included major roles in the U.S., Europe, North Africa, Japan
and Mexico.
Brink’s consulting career in turnarounds and restructuring has included
clients ranging in size up to $700 million. Brink’s particular skill set
includes: finance, including cost reduction and containment, financial
systems design, and banking relations/negotiations; as well as operations;
and strategic planning. Industries have included electronics, equipment
manufacturing, general construction, garment, furniture, healthcare
products, software development, food packaging and distribution, direct mail
and order fulfillment, and trucking & logistics.
Brink has served as CRO of Barco of California (designer and distributor of
professional uniforms); CRO of LH Research Inc. (manufacturer of integrated
power supply units); and CRO of Sunrise Medical Inc.-Bio Clinic Corporation
and of Sunrise Medical Inc.-Corona France.
Other successful turnaround and restructuring assignments have included
Interim CFO and CRO for Prepco Snack Foods; Interim CFO for Sound Source
Interactive; Interim CFO for Towne Inc.; CFO and CRO for WorldPoint
Logistics Inc. & Expedited Delivery Services; and a project CFO for Peck
Jones Inc.
Prior to his consulting career, Brink held several executive positions,
including: Director of Finance and Worldwide Group Controller for AMCA
International Inc.-Koehring Company, a $1.4 billion company specializing in
industrial and construction products, farm implement equipment, financing
and engineering services; Vice President-Controller for Fairchild
Corporation, a $500 million manufacturing supplier for commercial aerospace,
industrial and communication services markets; and Vice President-Finance
for the Rockford Corporation, a $70 million consumer electronics
manufacturer.
Brink received a BBA
from the University of Wisconsin, majoring in Finance and Accounting, an MBA
from the University of Dayton, majoring in General Management, and completed
a Senior Management Program from the Amos Tuck School of Business at
Dartmouth College. He has been a member of Financial Executives
International since 1983.
